This public consultation forms part of an impact assessment which will inform the design of a possible successor programme to the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP 2007-2013), consisting of three operational programmes:
- the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme,
- the ICT - Policy Support Programme and
- the Intelligent Energy Europe programme.
The Commission wants to gauge:
- How EU programmes can provide better support to enterprises, including access to finance, business framework conditions, access to information and the internationalisation of enterprises.
- How to foster competitiveness and innovation in sectors with major development potential, e.g. eco-innovation, clusters, key enabling technologies.
- How to stimulate a wider uptake of innovative ICT-based services and exploit digital content across Europe.
- How to promote the use of renewable energy and energy efficiency.
